Though it was released a couple of years ago, the Limited Edition Pokemon DS has finally made it’s way over to the US, and is available at GameStop. While it doesn’t appear to include a game with this particular bundle, it does come with a matching carrying case, a 22-minute Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DVD, a Grovyle poster, and a Pokemon t-shirt. All for the price of $129.99.

According to sources at MTV Networks, Microsoft is currently designing a Wiimote-style controller for the Xbox 360 that will also receive signal from an LED sensor bar, but is better than the Wiimote because it offers a microphone on board for Xbox Live chat. Not only do they confirm that the project exists, but they can give up the codename for it: Newton. Most likely it will have a standard rechargeable battery pack, not sure about the colors that will be offered. Look for it later this year.

A wooden SNES has already been invented, but now we go even more old school, and that’s where Parker Dillmann’s wooden NES comes into “play”. It is built around a Yobo NES clone and a 3.5-inch LCD, and of course Dillmann did some major custom woodworking to complete this beauty, and he says he’s already decided whats next to create.

We first saw the XPS 630 at CES and now it is official. How pretty… the Satin Silver PS3. Will cost ¥39,980 (around $374) when available on March 6th in Japan with a silver ¥5,500 (around $51) DualShock 3 controller. The only available HD is 40GB… Sadly

We have heard rumors that there is an all new Sony PS3 which slims down to a nice portable console. The rumor could be true because of Sony’s past of releasing the PSX and PS2 Slim. We say that this will not come out in the near future that is because of the drastic changes that would need to be done to slim the current model. A redesigned PS3 most likely will come in to play in late 2009.

We think this is just about as bad as a fake can get. The PX-3600 has 9-pin controller ports used for the Atari 2600 and Commodore Vic-20. One of the included controllers has vibration and the other does not. We are not sure what games it will play but we guess SNES and NES roms. Some games are included but are not listed on the product page. We say stick with a real Xbox.

Sony just discontinued their 80GB PS3 and now there is talk that there is a 120GB PS3 that will be available soon. Electronista says that Sony is going to maintain its two-unit strategy for the PS3 and will sell the console with additional storage, most likely 120GB. Rumors also say that the new PS3 version will come bundled with a Dual Shock 3 controller.

The Area-51 m15x gaming laptop is a bit bulky but has amazing performance. For the price of $2999 you get the highest performing components and nice features like an illuminated keyboard. If you are all about performance and a gamer go buy this laptop. If you travel a lot go get a laptop like the iTablet T221 Tablet PC.
