T-Mobile G1 site now live, first ad released

The T-Mobile G1 web site was available late last night, but it’s finally fully live after this morning’s big unveiling, and while it’s not exploding with detailed information, there’s many new pictures and details, including the much anticipated 3G coverage information. The first G1 ad has also has been released. If you whined over Apple’s grammatically questionable “funnest iPod ever” ad, wait until you watch the G1 ad including the words “smarterer,” “connecteder,” and even, “funnerer”.
Here’s the new T-Mobile G1 ad:
HP iPAQ 610 series will not be available in US

It looks as though HP does not like their native country, because the iPAQ 610 series that sports a sweet touch sensitive scroll wheel embedded in the keypad will not be available ever in the US. Devicewire, reports that the iPAQ 614 will be available to its customers as soon as next Monday an astonishing £351.99 (about $750). Ok HP we didn’t want this device anyway.

Garmin nuvifone now official

Garmin has just announced its ‘iPhone killer’ smartphone, the nüvifone. The nüvifone offers full browsing, PIM, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. We like its ultrathin design with beautiful full touchscreen. The device runs Garmin’s OS which is based on the UI its GPS units run, and it runs it very smoothly. There is no telling when it will be released, but we would say some time later this year.
